Last minute fan art...

So I found out that Bungie was doing a fan art challenge for Destiny in honor of Earth Day. The problem was I didn't find out until a day before it was due. I decided to go ahead a paint a piece and submit it anyways. I decided to go with a medium shot to save time although my original idea was to do a full figure painting.  I spent about 2 and a half hours working on this one. Maybe I'll do the full one eventually just for fun too.

I've been swamped with so many projects lately that it felt good to take a break and paint something different even if it was a quick one.

Another afternoon robot guy...

It's gloomy and raining here today so I think he is kind of reflective of that.

Some Global Game Jam 2012 work...

Here are a few of the concept pieces I worked on for Global Game Jam 2012. The game that my team (Team Scope Cannon) worked on was a project called Embodied. We managed to accomplish quite a bit in the the 48 hour time span, more than we were actually able to include in the final uploaded version of the game. The team has talked about polish the game up to a more completed state though in the future. The link to the game in its current state is: http://globalgamejam.org/2012/embodied

Anyways here are a few of the concepts...

Global Game Jam 2012

Tomorrow kicks of the big event known as Global Game Jam 2012. I will be taking part this year. I hope to be able to post some progress and such as time permits during the 48 hour jam session. I'm expecting lots of crazy ideas, a lot of coffee and hopefully many great games.

I've actually been brushing up on my modeling and playing with Unity a lot this past week to prep myself for the coming storm. I'll post some of my new pieces and screenshots soon.
