A little painting practice...

I've been pretty busy lately working on several new games (a new mobile game and a card game) along with other aspects of life and work, but I managed to squeeze a little practice time in tonight. I was using a spitpaint topic for inspiration, although with the Olympics on in the background I can hardly qualify this as a spitpainting. I did keep it to an hour though.

Last minute fan art...

So I found out that Bungie was doing a fan art challenge for Destiny in honor of Earth Day. The problem was I didn't find out until a day before it was due. I decided to go ahead a paint a piece and submit it anyways. I decided to go with a medium shot to save time although my original idea was to do a full figure painting.  I spent about 2 and a half hours working on this one. Maybe I'll do the full one eventually just for fun too.

I've been swamped with so many projects lately that it felt good to take a break and paint something different even if it was a quick one.

It's been a while...

I haven't posted in while. I've been keeping pretty busy lately, but that is a good thing. I did manage to get a couple quick paintings in tonight just for fun though.

Another lunch sketch...

I acquired a new brush set recently and have been experimenting on my lunch breaks to see if I like them. So lots of random stuff being painted. This is one of the more completed sketches.

Been busy working on a couple of projects lately. Hopefully, everyone has already downloaded and played Cute Robot Destruction from Happy Llama Productions by now. If not it's available for Android and Apple mobile devices and it's free too, so you have no excuse not to get it.

I did manage to squeeze in a sketch today on my lunch though that's not related to any upcoming projects.
